 Attaching the battery grip

1. Be sure that the camera is off, open the chamber cover and slide it out by 35°C. Remove the battery. To avoid that the battery drop down, please keep the battery chamber up.

2. Place the camera battery-chamber cover in the battery-chamber cover holder.

3. Insert the electrode pole of C400 into cameras battery chamber, firmly tighten the attach/detach knob by rotating it in the direction shown by the LOCK arrow, if there is a space left between camera and grip, please re-attach the battery grip.

4. The whole installing process finished. Turn on the camera and make sure that the cameras LCD displays the figures.

5. To remove the C400 battery grip, turn the camera off and follow the above steps in the reverse order.

Caution

1. The C400 is for use with compatible devices only.

2. To prevent electrical shorts caused by metal objects touching the power terminals, replace the contact cap when the C400 is not in use.

3. The C400 is not equipped with the power switch. Use the camera power switch turned on or off power.
