| 2. To prevent electrical shorts caused by metal objects touching the power terminals, replace the contact cap when the C400 is not in use. | ||||||||
| 3. The D40C is not equipped with the power switch. Use the camera power switch turned on or off power. | ||||||||
| Attaching The Battery Grip: | ||||||||
| 1. Be sure that the camera is off, open the chamber cover and slide it out by 35°C. Remove the battery. To avoid that the battery drop down, please keep the battery chamber up. | ||||||||
| 2. Place the camera battery-chamber cover in the battery-chamber cover holder. | ||||||||
| 3. Insert the electrode pole of D40C into cameras battery chamber, firmly tighten the attach/detach knob by rotating it in the direction shown by the LOCK arrow, if there is a space left between camera and grip, please re-attach the battery grip. | ||||||||
| 4. The whole installing process finished. Turn on the camera and make sure that the cameras LCD displays the figures. | ||||||||
| 5. To remove the D40C battery grip, turn the camera off and follow the above steps in the reverse order. | ||||||||
